RNT Builders, LLC is owned by Richard Trott, CR. He is very skill with our in-house CAD program which enables him to draw up plan designs that are detailed and professional and are accepted by all municipalities for building permits.

Having an in-house CAD program this allows us to be a full service remodeling company that will accommodate clients from installing a storm door to the construction of your new home. We have built an excellent team of employee crews and maintain strong relations with our quality trades contractors. Our company’s value is based on quality and service not the cheapest.

Your estimate:
Your project starts out by having one of our designers come out to your home and look at your project. They will ask questions to make sure that your needs and wants are met. Then take you through past projects that best represent your project with a lap top computer. At that point we can do a quick overall cad drawing of your project so that you can see how it might look. At the same meeting we then will give you the projected estimate investment of the project. To give you the exact cost of your project we go into the plan design step.

Plan/Design:
There is a fee for this process which starts at $1,000. The length of this process can very from job to job. The main thing we are trying to accomplish at a plan design is to get everything you want out of this project before a single hammer is swung. This is the point when we get down to the model numbers, colors, and exact price. We then do drawings of the project. At one of our next meetings we invite our quality trades contractors such as heating/cooling, electrical, plumbing out to see the project. This way you get to see and hear from the contractors that will be doing the work on your home. By having them come to the job location this assures us that their estimate will be an exact price.. We then set up the last plan/design meeting to go over all the items in your project. This includes the general building specification this will list every item, model number, color, brochure, and warranty that we will be installing on your home. Also included is the cost break down which tells the cost of items in the project.

The contract:
Now that everyone has agreed to the plans and materials used it is time for the contract. We have a great record of never changing your price once a contract is signed. This is accomplished by going through the plan design process. It will state how the project will be done and the steps through out your project.
